Tips on Getting Motivated

      I f you’re anything like me, you’ll also find it hard to become motivated in the winter months of the year. With a mix of the bare trees, gray skies, cold weather, and probably ten other factors, I can find it a bit hard to keep up the same fire I felt during the summertime. The crisp air puts me in a mood to crawl in bed, bundle up in countless blankets, put on netflix, and not get back up again.      Although these lazy times can be quite nice, there’s still a lot I want to accomplish yet in the moment lack the motivation to. So I’ve come up with a few of my own tricks to set a mood that will get you motivated to exercise, eat well, keep up with work, clean, or anything else you may feel a current lack of motivation for.        My first tip is that, when it’s hard to find any motivation to even get going, you have to try your best just to get up and do it.              -Grab some candles, decorations, etc. I know when I get some new decor, it motivates me to want my house to

The Last Few Days of High School

      This is it. Just a few more days of waking up before 7:00 am. A few more days of waking up and dreading the place you'll spend your days. A few days of poorly cooked cafeteria food. A few days of walking the same halls, and going to the same places at the sames time everyday. A few days, that's it. For the last four years, it seemed almost impossible to want anything more than graduation. However now that the time has come, it seems almost unreal preparing to leave what seems like the only thing that has stayed constant. Soon after graduation, everything will start to unravel. The friends you have known since kindergarten will move halfway across the country, and you'll be left to start things over. It may be hard moving on with your life and leaving something behind which never seemed like it ever meant that much to you in the past. New Addition

A few days ago, I had the honor of adopting the most precious puppy on the planet. It came as a surprise which I think makes it all the more exciting. Meet Gus; A chihuahua & Boston terrier mix. He’s barely a foot long, and such an angel. He has been such an amazing addition and I could not be more grateful. ♡
